To set up a new job, you need to create a new job card. Companies can accomplish this task when the job hasn't been ordered yet by the customer but it's still an opportunity. This job will have the status of Planning or Quote. Once the job is confirmed by the customer, the job can set the status to Order and can start posting usage and sales to the job.

You can budget a job by setting up task lines and planning lines. Each job must have at least one task line.
