Exercise - Update and publish a page in an e-Commerce site

For the exercises in this module, we recommend that you use the demo data in the USRT legal entity.

Scenario

You are working in the e-Commerce department of Fabrikam, and you are responsible for updating the home page of the site to reflect the upcoming winter collection.

  1. Open the site builder tool by following the link in Lifecycle Services, in the environment features page for e-Commerce.
  2. On the home page for the site authoring environment of Fabrikam, select Pages in the left navigation menu.
  3. Select the Homepage that you want to update.
  4. Select Edit in the upper-right corner.
  5. On the page outline on the left, select Homepage > Default Page (Required) > Main Slot > Carousel container > Carousel > first content row.
  6. On the right side, in the property panel, change the text to Into the winter breeze with all new designer outerwear.
  7. Change the Heading to Winter collection.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Select Preview to verify the changes.
  10. Return to the site builder tool, select Finish editing, and enter Winter collection announcement added to Homepage in the Comments field.
  11. Select Publish at the top of the page.
