In this module, you'll learn how to further customize the user interface experience in Business Central. Additionally, you'll learn how to configure pages so they'll appear in the default search functionality.

Page extensions can be used to modify an existing page, but you can also create page customizations. These objects are not visible for all users, but they are linked to a profile. Only users with that assigned profile will have the customizations.

You can create profiles within the application, but you can also create profile objects that can be distributed with your extension. You can use a profile object to define which page customizations are applied and which Role Center page is used.

In this module, you'll learn how to create page customizations and profile objects, and you will also learn how to create views. You can use views to give an alternative view of data. This data can be sorted or filtered in different ways.

Finally, this module will provide more information about application areas, how you can use them, and how you can extend the default Application Areas feature to define your own application area.
