While users are typically working in the user interface, developers work in Visual Studio in their own developer environment. Developers use Visual Studio to create and customize elements and perform other developer operations. The new developer environment allows developers to work in their own environment while still having the ability to collaborate and work with other developers and teams by using source control. The Element Designer is used to create elements, while the Application Explorer is used to manage elements.

It is important to synchronize any data changes with the database to Ensure that all elements are up to date in the Application Object Tree (AOT).
