Stakeholders are the people with investment in the success of the project. You'll gather with your organization's stakeholders to align goals and primary use cases for your strategic deployment of Microsoft Viva Insights. You may not need all the roles below, some roles may be filled by multiple people, or multiple people may take on multiple roles; it all depends on the size of your organization. For a smooth experience and broad user adoption, ensure that each stakeholder clearly understands their responsibilities.

Leadership roles

Early Adopters, Change Champions Use Viva Insights ahead of broader rollout. Provide feedback to help address any issues and refine communications ahead of full rollout.
Employee Training Lead Manages and communicates training content or training opportunities.
Department Leads Adopt Viva Insights to help drive departmental-specific goals and encourage team adoption.
IT Specialists Oversee all technical aspects of the Viva Insights deployment and rollout.
Communications Lead Manages company-wide communications during all phases of the rollout.

Clear, engaging, and well-timed communications that build towards a primary launch event are critical to the success of your rollout. Here are the recommended core priorities for preparing your adoption materials for Viva Insights.

Ensure ongoing multi-stakeholder dialogue and review in consideration of appropriate internal governance.

Be accountable for how data is used and use audit practices to ensure acceptable use.

Consider best practices when working with behavioral data.
Consider establishing a center of excellence and an early adopter program.

Develop an awareness campaign to communicate benefits and outcome goals.

Use end-user adoption kit resources to augment a broader training program for end users.
