Exercise - Create a severity rule
As a part of your engineering change management setup procedures, you need to set up a rule that states when a change request is created, with the impact of Minimal, a document change is required.
You can do this exercise in the engineering organization DEMF in the standard demo dataset in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Go to Engineering change management > Setup > Engineering change management > Engineering change severity rule sets.
Select New.
Select the Severity drop-down list.
Select Minimal.
In the Rules FastTab, select Add.
Select EngChgEcmSeverityRuleDocumentChange.
Close the page.
