Summary
In this module you have learned that the underlying architecture of finance and operations apps, and Finance + Operations (on-premises), is comprised of metadata, including elements, models, and packages. You have seen the foundation and work that goes into coding in Visual Studio for the user interface. There are ways to manage source control for coding, including Azure DevOps, and that coding should adhere to an organization's best practices and policies.
Lifecycle Services is used throughout an implementation to manage a finance and operations apps deployment.
Deployments can be either cloud-based and hosted in Azure, or on-premises at an organization's worksite.
