Module 4 Overview
As you begin to teach this module, get familiar with what the students will learn during the module. Dynamics 365 Commerce delivers a complete solution that unifies back-office, in-store, call center, and digital experiences. In this module, students will learn about the different commerce capabilities available using Dynamics 365.
This module consists of two lessons:
- Lesson 1 – Explore Dynamics 365 Commerce capabilities
- Lesson 2 – Explore Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce B2B e-commerce, store commerce, and clienteling capabilities
Module 4 Tips and Tricks
- Describe the Dynamics 365 commerce channels (e.g., online store, brick and mortar store, and associated concepts) as well as distributed order management and product assortments
- Explain how tools help provide personalized and targeted shopping experience in both business to business (B2B) and business to customer (B2C) businesses
- Consider relating the theory to a fictional store to show the relevance of capabilities like clienteling and fraud protection tools
- When discussing fraud protection tools, consider showing a recent newspaper article or infographic of the amount businesses lose through fraud
- Keep the level of explanation to an introductory level to align with this course being a ‘fundamentals’ delivery
