Prepare
During this guided project, you’ll help a teacher organize their grade book with GitHub. This project will help you get familiar with using the Git command line from within Visual Studio Code. Visual Studio Code is an integrated development environment (IDE). This project will guide you through creating a new GitHub repository via the GitHub web interface, cloning the project to your local computer, and then working both in GitHub’s web interface and on your local machine.
A computer is required to complete this project. A Windows PC is recommended.

Throughout this project, you’ll be prompted with actions to take. Often, you’ll also receive recommendations for naming conventions. If you choose to use other naming conventions, you may need to modify the project instructions to match your choices.
