Exercise - Record batch attributes at batch creation

In the USPI company, a new batch number for part P4000 needs to be created. As the inventory manager, you need to create a new batch number and enter the required batch attribute data for the batch.

Create a new batch number

  1. Go to Inventory management > Inquires and reports > Tracking dimensions > Batches.

  2. Select New.

  3. In the Batch number field, enter a value.

  4. In the Item number field, enter P4000.

  5. In the Manufacturing date field, enter a date.

  6. Select Save.

Record batch attribute data for the batch

  1. On the Action Pane of the Batches page, select View.

  2. Select Inventory batch attributes.

  3. Select Load item attributes.

  4. In the Attribute value field, enter a value.

  5. Select Save.

  6. Close the page.
