In Business Central, you can index fixed assets to adjust values for general price-level changes by using the Index Fixed Assets batch job. By using a depreciation book with G/L integration enabled, you can post the result of the index function to the general ledger. If the Index Fixed Assets batch job is used for a depreciation book without G/L integration enabled, Business Central only posts to the fixed asset ledger.
