The Data validation checklist workspace is used to track data validation processes during a new implementation, after an upgrade, or after a migration.

The following screenshot shows the Data validation checklist workspace, and highlights the drop-down menu where you select your Project name. When you’ve selected your project, you'll see data load into the Summary and Tasks and Status sections.

Depending on your view, you'll see only tasks that are assigned to you, or all tasks and statuses for a data validation project. In the workspace, select a data validation project at the top of the page. The data will then be filtered by the project that you selected.

The tiles in the Summary section show an overview of the process, which helps you keep the data validation process on track. There are tiles for not started tasks, in-progress tasks, completed tasks, and all remaining tasks. If multiple companies are included in the project, you will see data across all included companies.

In the Tasks and status section, you'll see details of the status of the overall project. You can view the status by legal entity, by area, by task, or for a specific company. These Status tabs give you a breakdown of the percentage completed and the number of tasks that still need to be completed. There is also a tab that shows a filterable detailed task list. You can change the status of a task or assign a task by using the Edit task button. The task names link you to the page where the user needs to complete the work necessary for the task. You can add files, notes, images, or URLs to a task by using the Attachments button. The Completed by and Completed date fields are automatically filled in when a worker completes the task.

To set up a project in the workspace, select the Data validation project page. The following screenshot shows the Data validation project page where you can add new Tasks, Legal entities, and Task areas.
