Enhanced product release functionality
As previously mentioned, you can control how your engineering products are released from one legal entity to another. The Enhanced product release functionality allows you to release versions of a product and its accompanying formula from one legal entity to other legal entities. Furthermore, you can set up the release in a way that the product information needs to be reviewed prior to release. When you release an engineering product, a new released product is created based off the information on the product in the engineering company. The engineering version and its data are also created or updated. If you release the same engineering version again to an operational company, the engineering data will be overwritten. Accordingly, the engineering attributes, BOM/Formula, routes, and documents will be created or updated when you release them to another legal entity.
