Assemble items to order in the warehouse

If you assemble items to order in a warehouse that is set up for mandatory bin usage, you must move the components from their bins in the warehouse to the assemble-to-order shipment bin that is set up on the location card. This bin specifies the bin where finished assembly items are posted to when they are assembled to a linked sales order. This field is used for items that have the Assemble-to-Order policy set up.

In the assembly setup, you can select the Create Movements Automatically field if you want the program to automatically create an inventory movement for the required components when you create an inventory pick.
