As a job progresses, the consumption of materials, resources, and in rare cases, other expenses must be posted to the job. In Business Central, users can post consumption in three ways: in a job journal, in a job G/L journal, or from a purchase line. Resources can use time sheets to register time that is spent on job tasks. You can also track items on a job with their serial number or lot number.
