Use item tracking in jobs

In Business Central, you can track items that are used in jobs. When items with serial or lot numbers are purchased for a job or consumed from stock, the program will copy the item tracking number into the job ledger entries. Then, it is possible to track the item by the standard item tracking function.

You can also specify item tracking information in the job journal, similar to how you would enter it in other areas of Business Central, such as sales orders and purchase orders.
