Other pricing and discounts for business partners

For B2B e-commerce, catalogs are the most efficient way of managing pricing and products that are offered to your business partners. Other methods are available for you to accomplish this goal, and you can apply them to business partners that are created from the e-commerce website.

You can create trade and sales agreements and then add them to business partners as customer records, and those prices will propagate to all users in the organization and the e-commerce website.

Additionally, you can apply discounts, and price groups that hold discounts, to the channels that business partners use to purchase products from the website.

You can also use price groups with affiliations. Affiliations are groups of customers who can take advantage of customer pricing and discounts. A customer can belong to multiple affiliations, which can allow for many different pricing scenarios. While affiliations are mostly used for discounts, you can create a price group for specific products, volumes of purchasing, or other examples, and then affiliate the price group with a customer record for a business partner and the users within the organization who might purchase from the B2B e-commerce site.
