Exercise - Create a task by using copilot template for store operations

In this exercise, you assume the role of Monica Rodriguez, the store manager, and assign a task to Riley Flores, the store associate. Copilot template for store operations fills out the task details for you based on the information that you provide.

To create a task, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Power Apps on your phone, sign out as MCR IAD FLW, and then sign in as Monica Rodriguez.

  2. Open Store Operations Assist Mobile.

  3. Select the AI store operations icon from the upper-right corner.

  4. Select Create a task.

  5. Provide the following task details: Order new footwear samples for display in Back Aisle, by (put the date of two days from today). Assign the task to MCR IAD FLW. Select Enter.

  6. After you provide the task details, AI store operations template checks your question for spelling and grammar errors and suggests a corrected version. When you're satisfied with the instructions, select Create task.

  7. AI store operations template opens the task page and fills out the fields for you based on the information that you provided. Verify the task page details and make changes as needed. You can select the cancel (X) button in the upper-right corner to discard the task.

    Note

    If you discard the task, the system redirects you to the AI store operations page where you get a notification that your task was discarded.

  8. When you're ready, select Save & Close to create the task.

    AI store operations template confirms that your task is created and shows you the task name.

  9. Select the task name that you created. The system redirects you to the task details page in Store Operations Assist Mobile. You can select the cancel (X) button to close the task details page and return to the AI store operations page.
