What, how, and why Power Apps in education?
Power Apps is a low-code application creation program that enables anyone to easily build web and mobile applications—even when users have little or no programming experience. Power Apps can create efficiencies in schools, classrooms, and with students. And Power Apps can also be created and used by leaders, educators, and students to provide a solution to a problem.
Prior to completing this module, learners should complete the Power Apps in Education 101 module to establish a basic understanding of how Power Apps is used in education. Participants learn the basics of the app creation process by walking through a tutorial to create a Student Information app. That app is then used with the Power Apps mobile app.
In this Power Apps in Education 201 module, the focus is on getting educators started with creating and using Power Apps with students. Educators will develop a deeper understanding of how to create and use Power Apps through the creation of an app in Teams. The successful completion of this process provides inspiration to continue the exploration of all that Power Apps can do for educators and students—especially when apps are created and customized to fulfill a specific need.
