Exercise - Create sales documents
In this exercise, you'll create sales documents, post them, and then sync the shipments.
Scenario
The next step in your testing process is to create sales documents for the two Shopify orders that you recently synced.
Because one unfulfilled and one fulfilled Shopify order exist, the connector should create a sales order and a sales invoice. When these sales documents are created, you'll ship and invoice the sales order and then invoice the sales invoice. Your last step is to sync the shipments to Shopify.
Tasks
You'll complete the following tasks in this exercise:
Create sales documents from the Shopify orders.
Post the sales documents.
Sync the shipments to Shopify.
Steps
Create sales documents from the Shopify orders.
Select the Search for Page icon in the upper-right corner of the page, enter shopify orders, and then select the related link.
Select all the lines.
Select Process > Create Sales Documents > Yes.
Post the sales documents.
On the Shopify Orders page, select the line where the Sales Order No. field has a value.
Select Order > Sales Order.
Select Posting > Post > Ship and Invoice.
Select OK.
Select No.
On the Shopify Orders page, select the line where the Sales Invoice No. field has a value.
Select Order > Sales Invoice.
Select Posting > Post.
Select Yes.
Select No.
Post the sales documents.
Select the Search for Page icon in the upper-right corner of the page, enter shopify orders, and then select the related link.
Select Process > Sync Shipments To Shopify.
Select OK.
Go to your Shopify online store.
Select Orders and notice that both orders are now fulfilled.
