Count inventory with the Warehouse Physical Inventory Journal
To keep an accurate record of inventory in the warehouse, physical counts of inventory must be performed regularly. The process of counting inventory can be time-consuming.
In locations that are set up with directed put-away and pick, you can count at the zone and/or bin level to divide warehouse areas into smaller pieces and count specific areas of the warehouse. With this feature, the counting process can occur more regularly or it can be spread over a longer period or at different intervals. The blocking of bins can be a major advantage to ensure that no items are removed during the counting or between the counting intervals.
