App launcher
The Microsoft 365 app launcher is built into Business Central. You can use the app launcher to quickly navigate to Microsoft 365 apps and services that are available to you or to your recently used or viewed documents. With the app launcher, you can check your email, create a Microsoft Word or Excel document, and retrieve files from your OneDrive, all while being only two clicks away from returning to Business Central.
You can pin apps to the launcher by selecting the app, selecting the ellipsis (...) in the app, and then selecting Pin to launcher.
Pinning Business Central environments to the app launcher is convenient because it gives you direct access to them. You can find Business Central environments by selecting All apps. This can for instance help you to switch quickly between production and sandbox environments.
