A report gathers information based on a specified set of criteria and then organizes and presents the information in an easy-to-read format that you can print or save as a file. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central provides many reports that you can access. Typically, the reports provide information that is relative to the context of the page that you're on.

You can find reports on the Reports tab on selected pages, or you can use the search lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature to find reports by name.

Generally, when you open a report, a request page will display, where you can set various options and filters that determine what information to include in the report.
