Order discs for manufacture

Important

This article describes features that require enrollment as an XBOX creator. To get started, register for ID@XBOX. If you're already enrolled but aren't able to use the described features, speak to your XBOX contactsAuthorization required.

When you're ready to order discs for manufacture, check that:

1. You submitted royalty tiersAuthorization required and received approval for them.
2. You submitted all required packaging artwork and received approval for it.
3. You submitted a test disc order using an approved game package, and received XBOX Certification approval for the test discs.
4. You submitted approval for the disc binary to be released to manufacture (RTM) and received confirmation of RTM.
5. You reviewed and followed all policies that are documented in the XBOX Publisher Guide.

Disc ordering process

Authorized Replicators

Only the Authorized Replicators (ARs) you select when creating a disc order in Partner Center are permitted to replicate your discs. You must review, evaluate, and select an appropriate AR that meets your needs. Your XBOX contacts can’t communicate with the AR on your behalf. XBOX samples requirements

As part of your publishing agreement with Microsoft, you might have to provide samples for each Finished Product Unit (FPU) you produce. For information about the required number and types of FPU Samples by region, refer to your publishing agreement with Microsoft and the XBOX Console Samples document available in the XBOX Publisher Guide.
