Has anyone already experienced the migration from Azure datacatalog to Pureview? Beside the complexity I'd like to understand if any datalost is likely to occurr and gaps we may have in the "new datacatalog" inside Pureview

Manually migrate your data from Azure Data Catalog to Microsoft Purview. Create a Microsoft Purview account, create collections in your data map, set up permissions for your users, and onboard your data sources. We suggest you review the Microsoft Purview best practices documentation before deploying your Microsoft Purview account, so you can deploy the best environment for your data landscape. I reviewed the documentation you shared and I still miss a clear statement that the notes and the glossay wont get lost or somehow degradated.
At the end I fear the only chance I have is to test it on my own. I'm only a little bit disappointed that no one from Azure spent a bit of time to create a dedicated manual for the migration rather than a generic one... likely customer of Datacatalog are not a large number.

You can go ahead and test with sample data and check if you are losing any data in the glossary terms.
