Hello,

We experience performance problems with our current Power BI embeded capacity. We are currently running everything on our embeded capacity, but are looking into other solution to handle more users.

By moving our data model to Azure Analysis Service, will we then be able to handle more users?

Could you please help with adding more on this Performance issue? what kind of scenario are we facing here?

Is it only related to handle more users?

Hi

To add more context, then we are currently running an A3. We scalled up to an A3 about 1 month ago, in order to fix our performance issues, but we still have overload. Our data model is around 1,5gb in size. The problem is when user interacts with our reports, then we have overload on our capacity. We are currently trying to optimize our data model, to make querying faster, but we also need to support more users at the same time. With our current setup, if 4 users interact with our reports, then we have overload.

We are thinking about, moving our data model to Azure Analysis Service, as it seems like we can get more RAM gb for the same price as our embeded capacity and then just use our embeded capacity as a front end. Please let us now your thoughts on that matter.
