Where do I find the signal: \LogicalDisk(_Total)% Disk Time when monitoring and Azure Arc VM

Hi team,

I am following your training module on Monitoring Azure Arc VM's ( https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/monitor-azure-arc-enabled-servers/5-smart-scalable-alerts-for-azure-arc-enabled-servers-with-azure-monitor) But when creating an Alert Rule as stating in the above link, I cannot fin where to select the \LogicalDisk(_Total)% Disk Time signal**.**

But when I follow the instructions I don't get the option to select \LogicalDisk(_Total)% Disk Time but get the following: User's image

What am I missing ?

    Hi,

    Performance counters are collected to Log Analytics so you need to create alert with custom log search. I would suggest to explore first to check the KQL language first and check Perf table in Log Analytics. That is where LogicalDisk(_Total)% Disk Time metric data is. It is unclear what exactly you want to alert upon so you will need for figure out the language.
