how to transfer notes folder

my notes on my i-phone need to updated from my outlook note folder, how do i do this please?

I understand that you want the notes on your iPhone to update from your Outlook Notes folder. I’m happy to help. Please reply with these details:

• Are the notes visible in Outlook.com on the web under the Notes folder?
• Were the notes created in classic Outlook Notes, Sticky Notes, OneNote, or the iPhone Notes app?
• Are you trying to view them in Outlook for iOS, OneNote, or Apple Notes?

Meanwhile, follow these steps:

1) First, check whether the notes are visible in Outlook.com

• Open a browser and sign in to Outlook.com with the same Microsoft account.
• Open the Notes folder.
• Confirm whether the notes you want to sync are visible there.

2) If the notes are Sticky Notes, use OneNote on the iPhone

If these notes are Microsoft Sticky Notes, they are usually accessed through OneNote or Sticky Notes rather than directly through Outlook for iOS:

• Install or open Microsoft OneNote on your iPhone.
• Sign in with the same Microsoft account used for Outlook.com.
• Check the Sticky Notes area in OneNote.

3) If you want the notes to appear in the Apple Notes app

• On the iPhone, open Settings.
• Go to Apps > Notes > Notes Accounts.
• Add or select the Microsoft / Outlook account.
• Make sure Notes is turned on for that account.
• Open the iPhone Notes app, then check the folder for that account.

4) If the notes are only in classic Outlook on a PC

If the notes are stored only in classic Outlook, please check whether they are saved in the Outlook.com / Microsoft account mailbox or only in a local Outlook data file.

• If they are stored under the Outlook.com / Microsoft account mailbox, check whether they appear in Outlook.com on the web.
• If they are stored locally in classic Outlook only, move or copy them into the account’s Notes folder first.
• After they appear in Outlook.com on the web, check again from OneNote on iPhone or the Apple Notes app account folder.

5) If the notes still do not appear on the iPhone

• Make sure the same Microsoft account is used in Outlook.com, OneNote, and the iPhone Notes account settings.
• Update Outlook, OneNote, and iOS.
