An Azure service that provides an event-driven serverless compute platform.
This is very big issue. Because our production application was stopped, we lose a lot of data.

Hi!
All my linux-hosted azure functions, python-based, got error: "Azure Functions runtime is unreachable" simultaenously.
Each function is connected to its own storage account and I verified that all the storage accounts exists, are reachable, and do not have any firewall setting limiting the network traffic.
This feels like a disturbance in your network but I could not find any warning or error message in your status portal. Any hint?

The product team is making improvements to the services but there could be a few instances where we could observe this issue and therefore, we do have the different SLA for the availability of any services. If your service is critical then either you can run the function app under app service plans and you can always configure geo disaster recovery on your function app for mission-critical code.
Azure Functions
For Function Apps running on App Service Plans we guarantee that the associated Functions compute will be available 99.95% of the time.No SLA is provided for Functions Apps running under Consumption Plans.

This issue was caused due to the backend resources that are used for azure function. The product team is further investigating the root cause and will be taking the necessary actions to reduce these occurrences in the near future.
