En el ejemplo siguiente se usa el constructor sin parámetros para crear instancias de tres Random objetos y se muestra una secuencia de cinco enteros aleatorios para cada uno. Comentarios

En .NET Framework, el valor de inicialización predeterminado se deriva del reloj del sistema, que tiene una resolución finita. Como resultado, los distintos Random objetos creados en sucesión cerrada por una llamada al constructor sin parámetros tienen valores de inicialización predeterminados idénticos y, por lo tanto, producen conjuntos idénticos de números aleatorios. Puede evitar este problema mediante el uso de un solo Random objeto para generar todos los números aleatorios. En .NET Core, el valor de inicialización predeterminado lo genera el generador de números pseudoaleatorios estáticos para subprocesos, por lo que la limitación descrita anteriormente no se aplica. Los distintos Random objetos creados en sucesión cercana producen diferentes conjuntos de números aleatorios en .NET Core.

Llame a este constructor si desea que el generador de números aleatorios genere una secuencia aleatoria de números. Para generar una secuencia fija de números aleatorios que serán iguales para distintos generadores de números aleatorios, llame al Random(Int32) constructor con un valor de inicialización fijo. Esta Random sobrecarga del constructor se usa con frecuencia al probar aplicaciones que usan números aleatorios.

Proporcionar un valor de inicialización idéntico a objetos diferentes Random hace que cada instancia genere secuencias idénticas de números aleatorios. Esto suele hacerse al probar las aplicaciones que dependen de generadores de números aleatorios.

Si la aplicación requiere secuencias de números aleatorios diferentes, invoque este constructor repetidamente con valores de inicialización diferentes. Una manera de generar un valor de inicialización único es que dependa del tiempo. Por ejemplo, derive el valor de inicialización del reloj del sistema, como hace la Random() sobrecarga. Sin embargo, es posible que el reloj del sistema no tenga suficiente resolución para proporcionar invocaciones diferentes de este constructor con un valor de inicialización diferente.
