En el ejemplo siguiente se muestra cómo crear un FileUpload control que guarda los archivos en una ruta de acceso especificada en el código. La FileName propiedad se usa para obtener el nombre del archivo que se va a cargar. Se SaveAs llama al método para guardar el archivo en la ruta de acceso especificada en el servidor, con el mismo nombre que tiene el archivo en el cliente. Tenga en cuenta que en este ejemplo se muestra la sintaxis básica de este control, pero no se muestran todas las comprobaciones de errores necesarias que se deben realizar antes de guardar el archivo. Comentarios

Obtiene el nombre de un archivo en un cliente que se cargará con el control FileUpload. El nombre de archivo que devuelve la FileName propiedad no incluye la ruta de acceso del archivo en el cliente.
