Minecraft Student Ambassador meetings

Completed

Minecraft Student Ambassador (MSA) meetings are a series of professional learning sessions for Minecraft Student Ambassadors. The purpose of the MSA meetings is for students to collaborate with their peers around the world and work with educators to showcase game-based learning and how it's used to support instruction across all content areas. During MSA meetings, MSAs share tips and tricks related to navigating Minecraft.

Every MSA meeting doesn't have to be a formal meeting. Informal MSA build dates/play dates provide a wonderful opportunity for your MSAs to get together, chat, collaborate in a Minecraft world, and complete a build challenge or other fun Minecraft Education activity. Additionally, with Minecraft Education multiplayer game mode, you host build dates virtually. Start with a Microsoft Teams meeting, discuss the day’s build, and then provide the join code to your MSAs. Make sure to include time at the end to reconvene and wrap up together.

MSA play dates provide an additional opportunity for your MSAs to socialize and build relationships with one another. These informal get-togethers help MSAs develop and improve their problem-solving, critical thinking, social and emotional skills, and communication skills while working together on Minecraft Education activities.
