Enumerar y consultar archivos y carpetas

Permite tener acceso a los archivos que se encuentran en carpetas, bibliotecas, dispositivos o ubicaciones de red. También puedes consultar los archivos y las carpetas que hay en una ubicación si creas consultas de archivos y carpetas.

Para obtener información sobre cómo almacenar los datos de la aplicación para la Plataforma universal de Windows, consulta la clase ApplicationData.

Nota

 Recuerda declarar la funcionalidad picturesLibrary.

En este ejemplo, se usa primero el método StorageFolder.GetFilesAsync para obtener todos los archivos en la carpeta raíz de la propiedad KnownFolders.PicturesLibrary (no en las subcarpetas) y se muestra el nombre de cada archivo. Después, se usa el método StorageFolder.GetFoldersAsync para obtener todas las subcarpetas en PicturesLibrary y se muestra el nombre de cada subcarpeta.

Nota

En C# o Visual Basic, recuerda poner la palabra clave async en la declaración de método de cualquier método en el que uses el operador await.

Como alternativa, puedes usar el método StorageFolder.GetItemsAsync para obtener todos los elementos (archivos y subcarpetas) en una ubicación en particular. En el siguiente ejemplo se usa el método GetItemsAsync para obtener todos los archivos y subcarpetas en la carpeta raíz de KnownFolders.PicturesLibrary (no en las subcarpetas). Después, en el ejemplo se muestra el nombre de cada archivo y subcarpeta. Si el elemento es una subcarpeta, el ejemplo anexa "folder" al nombre.

Consultar archivos en una ubicación y enumerar archivos coincidentes

En este ejemplo, se consultan todos los archivos en KnownFolders.PicturesLibrary agrupados por mes y esta vez el ejemplo recorre las subcarpetas. En primer lugar, se llama a StorageFolder.CreateFolderQuery y se pasa el valor CommonFolderQuery.GroupByMonth al método. Esto nos da un objeto StorageFolderQueryResult.

Después, llamamos a StorageFolderQueryResult.GetFoldersAsync, que devuelve objetos StorageFolder que representan carpetas virtuales. En este caso, la agrupación se realiza por mes, por lo que cada carpeta virtual representa un grupo de archivos del mismo mes.
