oldPassword
String

Contraseña actual del usuario de pertenencia.

newPassword
String

Nueva contraseña para el usuario de pertenencia.

Devoluciones

Boolean

true si la actualización se realizó correctamente; de lo contrario, false.

Excepciones

ArgumentException

oldPassword es una cadena vacía.

O bien

newPassword es una cadena vacía.

ArgumentNullException

oldPassword es null.

O bien

newPassword es null.

PlatformNotSupportedException

Este método no está disponible. Esto puede ocurrir si la aplicación tiene como destino el perfil de cliente de .NET Framework 4. Para evitar esta excepción, invalide el método o cambie la aplicación para que tenga como destino la versión completa de .NET Framework.

Comentarios

ChangePassword llama al ChangePassword método del proveedor de pertenencia al que hace referencia la ProviderName propiedad para actualizar la contraseña del usuario de pertenencia en el almacén de datos de pertenencia.

El proveedor de pertenencia puede tener restricciones en el tamaño de la contraseña. Para conocer las limitaciones de tamaño, consulte la documentación del proveedor de pertenencia.
