StringBuilder.Capacity Propiedad

Definición

Obtiene o establece el número máximo de caracteres que puede contener la memoria asignada por la instancia en uso.

Valor de propiedad

Int32

Número máximo de caracteres que puede contener la memoria asignada por la instancia en uso. Este valor puede variar de Length a MaxCapacity.

Excepciones

El valor especificado para una operación set es menor que la longitud actual de esta instancia.

O bien

El valor especificado para una operación set es mayor que la capacidad máxima.

Comentarios

Capacity no afecta al valor de cadena de la instancia actual. Capacity se puede reducir siempre que no sea menor que Length .

asigna StringBuilder dinámicamente más espacio cuando es necesario y aumenta Capacity en consecuencia. Por motivos de rendimiento, un StringBuilder podría asignar más memoria de la necesaria. La cantidad de memoria asignada es específica de la implementación.
