New Features
A selector parser is now applied to the selectors of UI elements, providing syntax and error highlighting, so that their elements and attributes can be clearly distinguished, and any erroneous editing can be easily identified.
The Power Automate browser extensions for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome have now been migrated to Manifest V3. Learn more.
Enhancements & Improvements
The files that are required to enable UI automation for Java applets can now be installed through the Power Automate installer.
The browser extension packages for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are now added to Power Automate’s installation folder.
The lists of flows under the ‘My flows’ and ‘Shared with me’ tabs are now loading concurrently and independently, to reduce the respective loading time.
Performance when launching the console has been further improved, especially in slow network environments.
In cloud connector actions, users are now prompted to sign in, when they don’t have any available connection to use.
Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:
An issue with Work/School or free Microsoft accounts, not being able to login to Power Automate for desktop after changing the machine’s date to eight or more days later, has now been resolved.
An error that occurred after editing the properties (variable name, data type and default value) of an input variable and saving it has now been fixed.
An issue with browser launching actions, mistakenly navigating to a blank page when the cache and cookies are set to be cleared, is now resolved.
Web automation now works as expected for Power Automate users after the version 22H2 update of Windows 11.
An issue with flows sometimes crashing during the interaction with desktop apps has now been fixed.
Data extraction can now take place normally from the Google news site.
UI elements in Chrome’s print popup can now be retrieved properly by the recorder.
