Privilege entity messages and methods

A privilege is a permission to perform an action in Microsoft Dynamics 365. The platform checks for the privilege. It fails if the user doesn’t hold the privilege.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 contains a complete set of privileges for all entities, including custom entities. Privileges can’t be added to the system except that when a custom entity is added, generated custom entity privileges are added for that entity. When a custom entity is deleted, the corresponding privileges are deleted also.

To view the entity metadata for your organization, install the Metadata Browser solution described in Browse the metadata for your organization. You can also view the metadata for an uncustomized organization in the Excel file called EntityMetadata.xlsx included in the top-level folder of the SDK download.
