The Empower program is designed to assist ISVs, over a 12-month period, in developing a commercially-viable software product based on Microsoft technologies.

  This is of course a very interesting deal of a start-up with a low budget.

  Looks very interesting, but whats the catch if you fail to meet requirements.
  Are the licences granted only for the 12 month period?

  the catch is that at the end of the period, if you dont have a certified application, your msdn subcription expires.
