Download the Oslo SDK and you get this new tool, called the Intellipad.  Samples are included.  Note the 'M Mode' on the menu - two options to explore

'Rich SQL Preview' or 'Reach SQL Preview'.  Also note the interactive 'minibuffer' from the Edit menu, available commands via the Help menu.
