Click Project management and accounting > Periodic > Estimates > Create estimates.

Use this form to create an estimate that has a specified estimate date. The estimate includes all transactions that occur on or before the estimate date and which have not been included in any previous estimate. This applies to hour, expense, item, and on-account transactions only.

Buttons

Button	Description
Select	Open a query and select the data to be included. View the data selections in the select query.
Recurrence	Change the starting time and starting date of the batch job or set up a recurring batch job.
Alerts	Modify or set up alerts for the batch job.

Fields

Field	Description
Period code	Select the period type that you want to assign to the estimate.
Estimate date	Select the appropriate estimate date.
Continuous	Select the check box to create continuous estimate periods.
Cost to complete method	Select the cost to complete method.
Completion method	Select the completion method.
Beginning balance	Select the check box if you want to create a beginning balance estimate.
Forecast model	Select the forecast model that you want to use.
Copy from model	Select the forecast model to copy from.
Print estimate list	Select the type of estimate list to print.
Show Infolog	Select the check box if you want to display the infolog.

Note

When you create multiple estimates, the final date for the most recently created estimate must be later than the date entered in the estimate that you created previously.
