Goal types (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Performance > Goal types.
Use this form to set up goal types that you can use to help organize worker goals and to provide instructions and guidelines to workers who are to complete the goals assigned to the goal type. When you create a goal, you must assign the new goal to a goal type.
Task that uses this form
Example
Suppose that you want all workers to create goals for the work that they plan to complete during the year. Workers also must indicate how they plan to hold themselves accountable for the goal.
Create a goal type for annual review goals
In the Goal types form, click New.
In the Goal type field, enter Annual Review.
In the Description field, enter Goals a worker plans to complete this year.
In the Introduction field, enter instructions or specific information that a worker needs to know before creating a goal of this type.
Click the User-defined fields tab and then click Add to create a custom field.
In the Sequence field, enter 1.
Select the Mandatory check box to require workers to complete this custom field when they create a new annual review goal.
In the Subject field, enter Accountabilities.

Select this check box to make the selected user-defined field mandatory for workers when they create a new goal. |
Subject |
Enter the name of the user-defined field. This is the name of the field that is displayed in the Goal details form. |
