DataField Element (RDL)

Provides the name of the field in the query.

Syntax

<Field> Name="...">
    ...
        <DataField>...</DataField>
      ...
</Field>

Element Characteristics

Characteristic	Description
Data type and length	String
Default value	None
Cardinality	0-1: Optional element that occurs once or not at all. For more information, see "Remarks."

Parent element	Field
Child element	None

Remarks

The Field element must have one and only one child element: either DataField or Value.
