The 2020-02-10 Azure Storage version includes the following features and updates:

  • A new API to set the ACL recursively on Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 path. For more information, see Update Path.

  • A new shared access signature (SAS) permission type to get access to only a subtree of the Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 filesystem.

  • Query Acceleration now supports querying Arrow file formats for output in Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 accounts.

  • A new API, Set Blob Expiry, supports scheduling the deletion of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 files.

  • Support for 4-tebibyte (TiB) files in standard file shares.
