Power Apps review
We hope you have enjoyed learning how to create and use canvas apps in Power Apps in this learning path! Together we've built an app, customized our app, shared our app, created a new environment, and learned how to manage users in our environment.
One goal of this learning path has been to provide you with a taste of what Power Apps is capable of delivering for your organization, and how you can start creating apps, regardless of your experience level. In the summary unit, we'll provide links to useful resources and downloads to help enhance your further learning.
Here's a quick review of the skills we learned:
Build an app based on data in a Microsoft Excel workbook that's stored in Microsoft OneDrive. You learned that Microsoft Power Apps can connect almost as easily to data sources that you're already using in the cloud (such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Google Drive, and Salesforce) or on-premises data sources.
Customize an app to make it your own by modifying the appearance and behavior and adding Excel-like functions by using formulas with control properties.
How to make a mobile-optimized app so that users can access Power Apps from a mobile device.
Share apps easily with your coworkers across the web, tablets, and mobile devices.
Set up environments so that you can support ALM, developers, or other business functions.
The best way to advance your skills is to practice using them, and hopefully you're beginning to get an idea of what is possible. Run the samples, use the templates, and generate more apps from your own data.
