Set up a OneNote Staff Notebook
A Staff Notebook is created for and is part of a staff team. It uses the permissions of that staff team. So owners of the staff team are the staff leaders in the Staff Notebook and members of the team are members of the Staff Notebook. To create a staff notebook, you need to be the leader of a staff team. Once a staff notebook is created, it can be opened in the Teams app, in a browser window, or on desktop and mobile applications.
Create a staff team:
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- With Teams selected in the primary menu, choose Join or create team.
- Choose the option to create a team.
- Select Staff team.
- Enter the name of your staff team and a description, then select Create.
- Search in your roster for staff members you want to include. Staff are members. Leaders and any coleaders are owners.

- Select the ellipsis button (…) next to the name of the class.
