IMFCaptureSource::GetCaptureDeviceSource method (mfcaptureengine.h)

Gets the current capture device's IMFMediaSource object pointer.

Syntax

HRESULT GetCaptureDeviceSource(
  [in]  MF_CAPTURE_ENGINE_DEVICE_TYPE mfCaptureEngineDeviceType,
  [out] IMFMediaSource                **ppMediaSource
);

Parameters

[in] mfCaptureEngineDeviceType

The capture engine device type.

[out] ppMediaSource

Receives a pointer to the IMFMediaSource that represent the device.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
