CBaseFilter.IsActive method
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The IsActive method determines whether the filter is currently active (running or paused).
Syntax
BOOL IsActive();
Parameters
This method has no parameters.
Return value
Returns TRUE if the filter is paused or running, or FALSE if it is stopped.
