CMediaType.InitMediaType method
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The InitMediaType method initializes the media type.

Parameters
This method has no parameters.
Return value
This method does not return a value.
Remarks
This method zeroes the object's memory, sets the fixed-sample-size property to TRUE, and sets the sample size to 1.
