L’exemple suivant illustre la Clear méthode et diverses autres propriétés et méthodes de la List<T> classe générique. La Clear méthode est utilisée à la fin du programme pour supprimer tous les éléments de la liste, et les Capacity propriétés et Count sont ensuite affichées.

Remarques
Count est défini sur 0 et les références à d’autres objets provenant d’éléments de la collection sont également publiées.
Capacity reste inchangé. Pour réinitialiser la capacité du List<T>, appelez la TrimExcess méthode ou définissez la Capacity propriété directement. La diminution de la capacité réalloue la mémoire et copie tous les éléments dans .List<T> La réduction d’un vide List<T> définit la capacité du List<T> à la capacité par défaut.
Cette méthode est une opération O(n), où n est Count.
