ChangeType est une méthode de conversion à usage général qui convertit l’objet spécifié par value
en conversionType
. Le paramètre value
peut être un objet de n’importe quel type, et conversionType
peut également être un objet Type qui représente n’importe quel type de base ou personnalisé. Pour que la conversion réussisse, value
doit implémenter l’interface IConvertible, car la méthode encapsule simplement un appel à une méthode IConvertible appropriée. La méthode nécessite que la conversion de value
en conversionType
soit prise en charge.
Cette méthode utilise la culture du thread actuel pour la conversion.
Notes pour les appelants
La méthode ChangeType(Object, Type) peut convertir une valeur d’énumération en un autre type. Toutefois, il ne peut pas convertir un autre type en valeur d’énumération, même si le type source est le type sous-jacent de l’énumération. Pour convertir un type en valeur d’énumération, utilisez un opérateur de cast (en C#) ou une fonction de conversion (en Visual Basic). Exemples
L’exemple suivant définit un fournisseur de format personnalisé nommé InterceptProvider

ChangeType(Object, TypeCode, IFormatProvider) est une méthode de conversion à usage général qui convertit l’objet spécifié par value
